length 44'

Friday 16 March 2018

March 16th, 1978. The storm is raging off the coast of Brittany, as the Liberian-flagged supertanker loses control of the helm. It is 9:45 AM. At 9 PM, after several unsuccessful attempts, the ship ends its course and runs aground on the rocks of Portsall, letting its 220 000 tons of crude oil invade the Breton coast. On that day begins one of the most devastating black tides in History, a terrible tragedy that could have been avoided. Hosted by famous sailor Loick Peyron.
