In vitro meat

length 90'

Imagine a world where meat is manufactured in the laboratory—eliminating the need for livestock breeding. It would be another advancement in man’s mastery of his environment. This food revolution is underway. How far will it go? Produced from a sustainable process, in vitro meat could provide mankind the protein it needs to survive while not destroying the environment. If meat is not produced from animals, doesn’t that mean it is more ecologic? There are two sides to this coin. There’s no clear consensus about in vitro meat as a savior. Questions abound in the public space and the scientific community hotly debates the topic. Will in vitro meat become the meat of the future? This documentary is a scientific investigation that will give the keys to understanding this issue.
